Here is the Tournament Schedule for the 2007 season:

September 15th BADLAND BASS BANDITS CLASSIC CHAMPIONSHIP @ Nelson Lake!!! 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

ALL TOURNAMENTS ARE RUN ON MOUNTAIN TIME ZONE!
(ex: if you live in central time and the tournament starts at 7 a.m., you will need to be there at 8 a.m.)

Please note: The dates of the tournaments are final. However, tournament lake locations may change due to water levels in lakes, or other factors. As we meet throughout the season we will discuss these matters if need be.

Tournament Information

  • Tournament entry fees are: $20

  • 10% of the total amount of entry fees goes to ND Game and Fish tournament Fee. (ND game and fish Law).

  • Of the remaining 90% amount of total tournament entry fee, 70% of it will be payback to the tournament anglers. (ND game and fish Law).

  • The remaining 20% of total tournament entry fees will go towards the club account to help pay tournament expenses, trophies, etc.

  • $2 of the entry fee will go towards the big bass cash pot. The angler who catches and weighs the biggest bass during a tournament competition will receive the cash pot.

  • Cash prizes will be given out, cash amounts depend upon the number of participants.

  • Trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place anglers. Guaranteed.

  • All fish weighed in must be 12 inches in length in order to qualify for weigh in. (see rule #5 in the rule sheet).

  • Limit of 3 Bass per angler (ND Game and Fish law). Only Smallmouth and Largemouth!

Point System for Tournaments


First Place 15 points
Second Place 12 points
Third Place 10 points
Fourth Place 8 points
Fifth Place 6 points



*Any angler placing after fifth place will receive 4 points for competing in the tournament. Even if an angler doesn’t turn in any fish to weigh, that angler is still awarded the points. Tournament anglers must fish from the start of the tournament until the end to receive these “participation” points.

*An additional 2 points will be added to the anglers score for catching the biggest bass of the tournament*
